SIGN FESTIVAL
FESTIVAL OF CHANGE

The Sign Festival – Festival of Change has been organized by the Cultural Association “Sign Festival” ODV ETS since 2018, and the 8th edition took place in July in Alba, Barolo, and other towns in the Langhe.

The Association works to spread culture by focusing, since the beginning of its work, on social issues important for the progress of contemporary society, with particular attention to social inclusion (“Scars” Project of 2019), sustainability (a long-standing focus of the Festival) and discrimination due to differences in gender, choices or thought.

Since 2015, the Festival – formerly Barolo Fashion Show – has taken place in the heart of the Langhe: Alba, Barolo, La Morra, Govone…

The Association, which in 2023 changed its name at the same time as registering with the RUNTS among the voluntary organizations as Cultural Association “Sign Festival” ODV ETS organizer of the Festival of Change, has to its credit, in addition to the organization of the last three editions of the Festival and the next one currently in preparation, also the “Partnership ArtFashion” event at the 58th Venice Art Biennale, for the Official Pavilion of the Republic of San Marino in 2019, the cultural exchange event on Design in China at the Wenzhou Polytechnic (Zehijang – China) and at the Italian Design Center also in Wenzhou.

Finally, among the Association’s many initiatives, we would like to highlight free training courses for young students on art, design, and photography, always focusing on the objectives of Agenda 2030. This is the focus of the entire Festival of Change, which will address many challenges between late 2023 and 2024, again in the Langhe region (centered around Alba and Barolo) and other areas of Piedmont.
